Stolen From Mexico
Worked with Agnes, a sustainable slow fashion label based in Mexico City to conceptualize and designed a limited edition jacket collection. Inspired by pre-Hispanic Mexican artifacts looted and sold in auction houses globally, these jackets stand as bold declarations urging us to reclaim and own our heritage, even if they stole it.
Crafted from Mexican denim, dyed with organic botanicals of the land, and hand-embroidered by women of Temoaya.

BRAND COLORS
The brand colors take inspiration from the spectrum of colors we see in our dayscape – the warm tones representing daytime and cool tones for nightime, which also work as dark mode on the app. The Sense Orange, retained from the original brand, a bold and optimistic color is used strategically throughout the brand to spotlight facts and create brand moments.
LIFESTYLE IMAGERY
For the lifestyle imagery, the art direction boldly captured the emotional journey of reclaiming one's heritage. It showcased the intense seriousness, unwavering strength, and triumphant joy of rediscovering personal connections through it. Shot at iconic museums of Mexico City, each location underscored the powerful narrative.
LAUNCH EVENT DESIGN
The event design, inspired by the shadowy world of smuggling ancient relics, showcased black spray-painted highlights, grunge crates, and rope-tied jackets with dramatic, overflowing story patches. Breaking gallery norms, attendees touched, felt, and wore the jackets, experiencing their heritage in a way that was both empowering and deeply personal.
